Founded by directors Stephen Day and Tom Lloyd, Dayco Cleaning originated in 2020 as a division of Dayco Property Maintenance.
As the business, team, and client base grew, it became clear that the cleaning division required its own focus and identity. In 2025, Dayco Cleaning became an independent business dedicated solely to its clients’ cleaning needs across London and Hertfordshire.

Meet Tom, the driving force behind Dayco’s relentless pursuit of excellence and professionalism. As the Chief Operating Officer and Joint Owner, Tom’s journey with our company began in 2020. Tom brings with him a wealth of experience, honed through the success of previous business ventures. Tom’s dedication to our company values runs deep. Through his leadership, these values influence every aspect of our operations, ensuring that our commitment to quality, teamwork and customer satisfaction shines in everything we do.
Co-founder and director of Dayco Cleaning, is a proud husband and father of three; his family is his biggest motivator, both personally and professionally. Stephen shares Tom’s passion for fitness. He recently completed the Barcelona Ironman triathlon.

Cleaning manager Rachid is a real character; he has such energy about cleaning and loves to talk about it, from processes to techniques. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and young daughter, who attends dance school, and takes pride in cultivating his allotment patch
Our cleaning crew is diverse, with many members from the Brazilian community. To celebrate their culture, we host an annual Samba party!
Historically, Samba was incredibly expressive. Singing, dancing, and percussion were all part of Afro-Brazilian celebrations and commiserations. Today, Samba creates a circle of dance that brings people together. We hold the Dayco Cleaning Samba party to show our appreciation for the great work our cleaning crew does.
